SUMMARY:A Night on the Town
DESCRIPTION:A Night on the Town is an annual event that provides a powerful opportunity for our community to learn about homelessness\, raise awareness for our friends without an address\, and experience a bit of what it might be like to be outside\, overnight\, in the hottest part of our humid Kentucky summers. \n​ \nBox dwellers commit to spending 7 hours outside in a cardboard box\, in Chestnut Park in Murray. Box dwellers come from all works of life: local government leaders\, police officers\, pastors\, business leaders\, students\, grandmas and grandpas\, moms and dads. Each box dweller is challenged to raising at least $1\,000 to help the Murray Calloway County Homeless Coalition. \n​ \nCommunity members can get involved with us by donating\,  signing up to be a box dweller\, being a business sponsor\, serving as an event volunteer\, or donating a cake auction item! \n​
