We work with public and private stakeholders to educate, improve, promote, conserve, and provide stewardship for the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. We work with the Forest Service to support environmental education at Land Between the Lakes, manage the volunteer program, operate the Golden Pond Planetarium, and offer a School Field Trip Grant program to help schools bring students on educational field trips to LBL. We staff all of the visitor centers as well as the Woodlands Nature Station, Homeplace Living History Farm, and Golden Pond Planetarium. Our staff and volunteers work to offer high-quality fun and educational experiences for members of the local community who visit LBL as well as for visitors from around the country who are hear to experience our wonderful region. We are supported by memberships and donations. If you would like to be involved or volunteer, please contact us!
